Samsung Anycoat-C (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose USP) has additional advantage of quick dispersion, low moisture & more transparency of aqueous solution hence it gives better dissolution & disintegration profile for tablet formulations.

(HPMC Phthalate)
Anycoat-P (chemically HPMC Phthalate) (Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose Phthalate USP HP 55). Initially it was developed for use in enteric coating tablets. Gradually, the product was further developed and used successfully in taste masking for various active drugs along with as an enteric coating / binding material and also for sustained release coating / binding material.
As an enteric coating / binding material, HPMC-P protects the stomach mucosa against stomach irritating drugs and protects acid sensitive drugs against strong acidic gastric juice.
Anycoat-P (HPMC Phthalate HP55) dissolves quicker at lower pH 5.0~5.5 than CAP. The characteristic Solubility promises a higher bioavailability of active ingredients.
