VEEGUM® CH

It is a fine powder smectite clay for personal care and animal formulations, including those at high pH. It can be used in both dry powder formulations and aqueous formulations. Veegum® CH is a highly purified smectite clay suspension stabilizer, emulsion optimizer and rheology modifier. It also reduces the slippery or sticky feel of gums and polymers, while providing a silky, tack-free feel in topical preparations. This smectite clay is synergistic with common thickeners such as Vanzan® NFC (Xanthan Gum), Biopol® (Carbomers) and Sodium CMC.
